Just before the UK became affected by the Coronavirus I had really enjoyed photographing Bethany and Callum’s wedding held in Stoke-on-Trent. Two weeks past their wedding date and we were amidst a global pandemic, as on the 23rd March 2020 England was put into lockdown. By this time I had edited their pictures and was ready to deliver their USB containing their wedding photographs.

Newlyweds and National Lockdown

Like most people at that time there was a lot of uncertainty about the rules, how to conduct our businesses and more importantly our futures. After speaking with Bethany & Callum I asked if it would be ok to deliver their packaged USB and leave it on their doorstep, keeping my distance etc.
They had been so patient waiting for their pictures and had just moved into their new home during the pandemic – which must have been so stressful – just avoiding the house purchases being halted by the Government. They needed cheering up!

I asked if I could bring my camera along and capture some pictures for them and for me as it was definitely blog-worthy. It was really lovely to be able to give them their pictures, despite keeping myself at a distance I could see they were so happy in their new home and grateful to receive their wedding pics.
Here are a few from my short time with them 🙂
