DIY Village Hall Wedding, Leek, Staffordshire – Danni & Jamie
Dani & Jamie celebrated their wedding at one of my favourite little churches near Leek, St Matthew’s in Meerbrook, Staffordshire. Their reception venue, Horton Village Hall, was decked out with all their own personal touches. These guys really did an amazing job with all the decor – a great DIY rustic wedding example!!!
45 size LPs as table names, an old wooden ladder used as shelving to display the word LOVE, heart-shaped cutouts sprinkled over the tables, the venue dotted with bunting, family photographs on the walls and hung from wooden crates. The atmosphere they created was certainly a reflection of them, it was lovely.
Dani and Jamie have two adorable little girls and during the ceremony I captured some great images of them, which really show their character. The portrait session was amazing too, in a dense woodland with a stunning VW campervan to play with. One of the images from their wedding has also received an ‘International editors’ choice award’- BOOOMMMM! – you can see a blog post about this HERE
Great wedding, the nicest, relaxed couple I could ask for surrounded by the most welcoming family and friends. It was also Jamie’s birthday and I can’t think of a better way to have celebrated it!
Enough from me, let’s get into the pictures…..
