Back to The Moat House in Acton Trussell for Emma & Phil’s wedding.
Before we get into their wedding I must talk briefly about their engagement session, which took place in January 2015 at The Brampton Park in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Now as we all know the UK weather can be a little unpredictable, but the weatherman got this one spot on – SNOW! And a lot of it too.
Their engagement session was magical. It snowed the whole time and gave us some memorable pictures – grab a cuppa in the warmth and have a read – click here
Now onto the wedding, which started at Emma’s mums home in Stone, Staffordshire. The ceremony took place at Aston S. Saviour Church, in Aston-by-Stone, and the reception was held at The Moat House in Acton Trussell. The Moat House is a superb wedding venue, set in a lovely village. It has a lake to the front that offers great picture opportunities, especially at night when the tree is lit up overlooking it – this has become a bit of a signature image for them.
Phil and Emma are probably the youngest couple I’ve photographed, both in their early twenties. Emma actually celebrated her 21st birthday on the day of the wedding. For a couple so young they are incredibly wise and very much in love, they truly are two of the nicest people you could meet.
Looking back at the wedding it was the perfect day, and working in glorious sunshine and being around people who were so friendly and relaxed was a pleasure.
Phil & Emma this blog is probably a little overdue but I want to thank you for hiring me as your wedding photographer, it was an honour!
Enjoy the pictures…..
