Kat and Dan reached out to me for their vintage barn wedding held at the Ashes Barns Wedding Venue in Staffordshire. From the day we first met at their consultation we got on immediately. Over a coffee it quickly became apparent that they were such a likable couple – and that surname guys! You just had to book me 😉
K&D’s vintage wedding was a pleasure to photograph. It was a cool wedding to be included in, with plenty of moments to capture that highlighted their personalities – they were always smiling or laughing and so attentive towards their family and friends. They made the day enjoyable for everyone by providing a ‘pimp your prosecco’ station, putting on The Ashes’ signature guest chef carvery, a cool insta photo booth and live music that gave the evening a true party vibe.
Throughout the day the weather was perfect, with a slight chill in the air allowing the guests to enjoy the venue’s grounds and scenery. For Kat and Dan’s portrait session we used some of their favourite locations around the pond and house. In the evening, while everyone was rocking the dance floor, me, K&D escaped into the night for a star scape image – this turned out amazingly with perfect clear skies revealing every star!!
I departed soon after shooting this image and left the happy couple to enjoy the rest of their wedding. It was such a great day!! Thank you guys for including me in what was a truly spectacular wedding – we rocked it WEBSTERS 😉
Here’s their 50 frames, enjoy…..
